MISSION

To energize the spirit and potential of our local community through charitable investments that will have a significant, measurable impact on our health, education and quality of life.

The Wiregrass will be positively impacted by the foundation deploying resources to improve key indicators of health, education and quality of life.

ZONES OF INTEREST

EDUCATION

Objective for Education:  To increase school readiness, K-12 achievement and post-secondary   attainment.  

HEALTH

Objective for Health:  To promote healthy behaviors and improve access to healthcare.

QUALITY OF LIFE

Objective for Quality of Life:  To produce a rising standard of living, including increased income, assets and economic security; and to build civic engagement and promote effective leadership and organizations.

 

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

• SELECTION   Identifying and funding organizations with programs that are likely to achieve foundation objectives. 

• EVALUATION  Evaluating the performance of funded programs and holding grantees accountable for results.
  
  
  
• LEVERAGE  Directing attention to promising programs in order to influence  participation by other sources of funding.
