Wiregrass Foundation funds programs in three zones of interest including health, education, and quality of life.  In addition, Wiregrass Foundation has adopted a special interest – the well-being of young children (0-5 years of age).  Interest in this target population extends across all three grantmaking “zones.”  Wiregrass Foundation envisions a community that strives to ensure that children under six enter school prepared to be successful throughout the years that follow.  In addition to foundation-led programs, the foundation welcomes grant applications within its Framework for Early Childhood Initiative.  Applications should be submitted in accordance with our Grant Application Guidelines.
