David Johnston, Chairman
David Johnston graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 1974, obtained his law degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, in 1977, and further obtained a Masters in Tax Law from New York University Law School in 1978.   Mr. Johnston has been a tax attorney with the law firm of Johnston, Hinesley, Flowers & Clenney, P.C. in Dothan, Alabama since August 1, 1978, specializing in tax matters including corporate mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, and tax litigation with the Internal Revenue Service and the Alabama Department of Revenue. Mr. Johnston also serves on the Board of Directors of Regions Bank-Dothan and the Administrative Board of the First United Methodist Church in Dothan, Alabama. 
 
David Parsons,
Chairman-Elect
David W. Parsons is the Managing Partner of ParsonsGroup, LLC, Accountants and Consultants. David has been actively involved in the community and in the past has served as Chairman of the Board of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, was the founding Chairman of Dothan by Design, founding director of the Dothan Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, as well as many other civic organizations. David currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Houston County Industrial Development Authority. David also serves on the Flowers Hospital Board of Trustees, Sunsouth Bank Board of Directors, and the Bank of Vernon Board of Directors. David is active in his church, Calvary Baptist Church where he is a Deacon. He is married to Gayle McLeod Parsons and has 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
 
 Mary Julia Lee, Secretary
Born in Abbeville, Alabama, Mary Julia Lee attended Troy State University and the University of Alabama. She has an extended history of working with charitable projects which began in New Mexico and continued after her return to Alabama. Mary Julia established Chrysalis, a home for abused or neglected girls in Dothan in 1985 and has continued as a board member and past president. She has also served on the boards of over 10 local charities and national organizations. She and her husband, Dr. Rufus Lee, have three children.
 
  John Dunn, M.D.
Dr. John Dunn is a Medical Oncologist and has been with Dothan Hematology and Oncology in Dothan, Alabama since 1991. He completed residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine/Hematology/Oncology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He received his M.D. from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1986. He is an active member of the Nazarene Church and enjoys singing and participating in family activities.
 
 John Edge
John Edge received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Mobile College in 1970. He attended graduate school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and completed his Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration in 1976. He and his family moved to Dothan, Alabama in 1977, where he served as Administrator of Flowers Hospital. He retired from that position in 1993 and has served as a member of civic and health-related boards since that time.  John currently serves as President and Board Member of the Foundation.
 
Bobby Hewes
Bobby Hewes, a Dothan native, graduated from the University of Alabama in 1968 with a Bachelors Degree in Biology. He worked for several years as a stockbroker with Thornton, Farish and Gauntt. In 1972, Bobby joined the Coldwell Banker Afred Saliba Realty, a company which encompasses residential and commercial real estate and property management. Bobby is a partner and has served as president since 1972. He has served in many positions in his career field, including board member of the Alabama State Real Estate Commission for the past 7 years. He is a former board member of the First United Methodist Church, past president of the Dothan Boys Club and served on the Dothan Recreation Board for 23 years. Bobby is married to the former Susan Weatherford and they have three sons and seven grandchildren.
 
 Addie McKinzie
Addie McKinzie moved to Alabama after graduating from Saint Mary of the Woods College in Terre Haute, Indiana in 1974. She is currently the Director of Operations Auditing and Utilization Management at Southeast Alabama Medical Center, where she has been employed for over thirty-one years. Addie is dedicated to the local area and works with several Dothan ministries. She also serves on several committees including the Revenue and Integrity Steering Committee for the Alabama Hospital Association and the Intermediary Advisory Committee with Cahaba.
 
 Steve McCarroll
Steve McCarroll, City President for Compass Bank in Dothan, Alabama, has been a resident of Dothan for 23 years. He received his degree in economics from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and went on to receive his MBA at Georgia State University. Steve is past chairman of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and Dothan By Design. He is currently a board member of Houston Academy and the United Methodist Development Fund. He and his wife, Karen, have two daughters, Susan, a sophomore at Birmingham Southern College, and Ginny, a history teacher at Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, Tennessee.
   Steve Shaw Steve Shaw graduated from Auburn University in 1977.  After working for Vulcan Materials Company in Birmingham, Alabama he joined Couch Construction Company in 1982 as Vice President of its Construction Materials group.  Steve currently holds the position of Vice President of Ready Mix USA and Aggregate USA, a regional construction materials company in Southeastern United States.  Steve has been actively involved in the community as Chairman of the Administrative Board at First United Methodist Church, serves on the board of BBVA Compass Bank in Dothan, Alabama, and is Vice Chairman of Troy University Dothan.  Steve is married to Julie Torrence Shaw and has three children, Caroline, Julie and Douglas.
