Dr. Thomas Harrison,
Education Program Director
Thomas Harrison,  and his wife, Sarah, recently returned to Dothan from Columbus, Georgia where he spent 11 years at Columbus State University as Dean of the College of Education and Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs. Thomas served as President of Troy State University Dothan for 10 years.
 
Thomas has degrees from Troy University and Auburn University where he received his Doctorate in Educational Leadership. He has served public schools and colleges in Alabama and Georgia for 40 years. Recently, he served as Executive Director of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce/ENVISION Coordinator before accepting the position of Education Projects Director with the WiregrassFoundation. He continues to oversee the implementation of ENVISION, the community’s strategic plan.
